Finals Week
Ugh, I'm so sorry about the lack of posting. My week has been filled with non-stop studying. And in the (little) free time I have where I'm not studying, I'm stressing instead. It just has been very hectic. On the bright side, my hardest final (AP World) is finished and as is my AP English final. I have three left, and I'll be done on Tuesday afternoon. Then I will finally be able to enjoy the holidays and spend time with family, friends, and Andon.
So here's a little mash-up of anything you may have missed in the past couple months...

Harem Pants
So I bought these pants in Italy for about 35 Euros with hopes that I could pull them off somehow. I brought them home and tried them on, only to think, "Great. I just paid about $50 for a pair of pants I'll never be able to find a way to wear." But then I started trying things on with them.. Here are some of the best options to wear with harem pants:
First things first, keep it simple and structured. The pants are clearly loose and contain lots of fabrics, so they need to be evened out with more fitted tops and foot-baring shoes. Here's a list of pieces to pair with the pants (alliteration!)...

- Fitted t-shirt or tank top
- Cropped jackets or sweaters
- Sandals!! (I tried sneakers and boots, but they just didn't look right on me)

Sweater over a Dress
Probably the most versatile thing ever. Anything cropped on top of a dress. This time I decided to use a sweater because it's a bit chilly this morning. Then I added a pair of flats and a necklace and I'm ready to roll!
- Current: H&M sweater ($5), thrifted dress ($10), shoes bought from Target 4 years ago ($?)
- Option 1: cropped tshirt over this same dress and sandals
- Option 2: loose sweater over pleated skirt (short), sweater tights, boots
- Option 3: button up shirt (tied in front) over this dress

Maxi Dress + Moto Jacket
Currently wearing a Daughters of the Liberation maxi dress, Kut from the Kloth motorcycle jacket, and Dolce Vita magenta/teal sandals.
I'm really excited about this dress because:
a) It's a chambray maxi
b) It's not straight up and down like my other ones (no more belt!)
c) It has pockets

New Sandals and Blouse
Today is the warmest day of the week (85 degrees more or less), so of course I decided to dress accordingly. The sandals are Dolce Vita and I bought them last week along with the blouse. The sandals cost me $20 and the top $12.
Different ways to wear the blouse:
